We use the ancient process of hydro-steam distillation to extract the pure essential oil from the flowers. It takes approximately Rose Buds of 50 mature plants to produce 1 Ounce of Rose Essential Oil. This is why pure essential oils are more expensive that their oft-diluted counterparts.
